The Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne welcomes you to the Archbishop’s Office for Evangelisation (AOFE) website. Our office assists those who are searching for information about the Catholic Church and those wish to be engaged further in the life of the Church and its mission in the daily living of the Gospel. We inform, educate and form those who wish to strengthen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We wish to engage and support people in their living of the Gospel here in Melbourne to be living witnesses of Christ’s love to others.

The Archbishop’s Office for Evangelisation is entrusted with networking, listening, encouraging and supporting the vast array of people involved in ministry in the various settings where the Good News is lived, proclaimed and celebrated across our diocese. We also support those in formal positions of leadership in obtaining the necessary training, accreditation and ongoing support in their ministry.
